PuzzCAPTCHA Wordpress Comment Spam Protection Plugin v1.1

PuzzCAPTCHA implements a unique form of comment spam protection, to help limit unauthorized access of forms by automated bots. The user is presented with an image that they must first assemble before entering in the challenge phrase into a text box. Since most bots would require an assembled image to be able to machine read text, this allows for greater image readability for the common user, hence greatly improving the user experience when such measures are necessary.

Please note that this version of PuzzCAPTCHA is licensed for non-commercial single domain use for registered users only. Portions of the technology used in PuzzCAPTCHA are patent pending and may not be used in other applications without prior express written permission from Michael VanDeMar.

Version 1.1 released - Fixed a logic bug that was allowing comments through that did not pass the verification.

Installation instructions:

1) Unzip PuzzCAPTCHA into it's own directory, /puzzcaptcha/, preserving path names.
2) Upload the entire folder to the wp-content/plugins/ directory of your Wordpress installation.
3) Ensure that the puzzcaptcha/puzzbits directory can be written to by Wordpress.
4) Insert the following code in your theme, in comments.php, after the </form> tag:

5) Activate the plugin in the Plugin options.
6) In the Options panel, set the comment form id to whatever your theme is using (most themes will have id="commentform", which is the default setting).
7) Customize the other settings from the Options panel, if desired.

PuzzCAPTCHA plugin is provided Free for Non-Commercial Use Only. Methods used in PuzzCAPTCHA are patent pending, and may not be used in other programs. Anyone wishing to use PuzzCAPTCHA on a commercial website, or to have the methods used integrated into something other than this WordPress plugin should contact me directly.

I, Michael VanDeMar ("I"), am willing to grant personal, non-transferable 
and non-exclusive right and license of the PuzzCAPTCHA WordPress plugin 
and accompanying documentation (collectively, "SOFTWARE") upon the 
condition that you ("YOU") agree to accept and abide by all of the terms 
and conditions set forth in this license agreement ("AGREEMENT"). 
Please read all of the terms carefully before installing or using the software. 

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL OF THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, I AM UNWILLING 
TO LICENSE THE SOFTWARE TO YOU, AND YOU SHOULD NOT INSTALL OR USE THE SOFTWARE.
